At Chef Safoora, every dish tells a story—one of passion, perseverance, and a deep love for authentic Malabar cuisine. The driving force behind this journey is Chef Safoora Abdul Rahiman, a young entrepreneur who followed her heart despite holding a degree in Psychology. Hailing from Kannur District of Kerala, cooking had always been her true calling, and with the unwavering support of her family, she decided to turn her passion into a business.

In January 2018, with nothing more than basic utensils and a heart full of dreams and fears, she launched Safu’s Kitchen in Sydney, registered with the Council of Cumberland. What started as a small home kitchen serving just one or two orders a day quickly grew beyond her imagination. Within a year, demand soared so high that she had to shift from daily orders to exclusively catering for parties. But what truly amazed her was how far her food traveled—not just in Sydney but beyond. Orders started coming in from Blue Mountains, Newcastle, Wollongong, and Gosford, and even customers from Melbourne and Perth sought out her flavors whenever they visited Sydney, drawn by glowing recommendations from their friends.

After taking a well-deserved maternity break, Chef Safoora is now back, ready to embark on a new chapter—this time in Kerala. She is bringing the same authentic Malabar flavours to Kakkanad, where the bustling professionals of Infopark, Smart City, and beyond can now experience the warmth of her homely meals. With Bites & Brews, customers can walk in and enjoy delicious starters, snacks, desserts, and drinks, while Safu’s Kitchen offers a personalised dining experience, where every dish is cooked to order, just as if it were made at home.
